Termination of License Agreement. a. If your License Agreement is terminated for conduct reasons, you will be charged Rent through the effective date of your removal or the date you check out, whichever is later (pro-rated Rent), plus you will be charged 65% of remaining Academic Year three (3) additional months’ Rent (or Rent through the end of the Academic Year in May) or $2,500.00July 31, 2023, whichever is less. This applies regardless of whether or not your you continue enrollment at the University continuesUniversity.
b. Except in cases as outlined noted in Sections 10)a., d.e., e. f. and f.g., if you withdraw from the University (are not registered for any credits)University, remain withdrawn for the remainder of the Academic Year2022-23 academic term, vacate your Apartment and Room, and check out pursuant to the required procedures for your ResidenceGraduate Housing, you will be charged Rent through based on the date on which you check out or the date on which you withdraw from the University, whichever is later dates of your Occupancy (pro-rated Rent), rent) plus $600 or Rent through the end of the Academic Year in May, whichever is less. A pro-rated rent charge will be no less than the pro-rated rent for one one

c. If you vacate your Apartment and Room and check out pursuant to the required procedures for Graduate Housing by May 31, 2023, you will not be responsible for June and July 2023 rent. If you vacate and check out during June 2023, you will not be responsible for July 2023 rent.
d. If you vacate your Apartment and Room and withdraw from the University during the term of this License Agreement, fall semester but are later readmitted and register for classes during the Academic Yearspring semester, your License Agreement remains in effect effect, and you will be charged Rent rent through the end of the Academic Year in MayMay 31, 2023. If you would like to return to a Residence Graduate Housing for the spring semester under these conditions, you must notify the Housing & Residential Life office in writing (email, fax, letter) of your intention at least two ten (210) business days before prior to the day you wish to take Occupancy.
d. Except in cases as outlined in Sections 10)a., e. and f., if your initial Occupancy under the terms of this License Agreement begins before the last day of the Fall Semester, you withdraw from the University (are not registered for any credits), you remain withdrawn for the remainder of the Academic Year, and you check out pursuant to the required procedures for your Residence after November 14 in the Fall Semester and before the first day of Spring Semester classes, you will be charged Rent through the end of the Fall Semester in December or the date on which you check out, whichever is later, plus $200move back into Graduate Housing.
e. Except in cases as outlined in Section 10)a., if If you leave the University and check out pursuant to after the required procedures from your Residence by 12:00 noon on the last day of the Fall Semester fall semester to attend an official University-approved program (internship, Study Abroad, National Student Exchange or other student exchange program) that will 1) require you to reside outside of the Tucson metropolitan area during the Spring Semesterspring semester, or 2) result in you not being registered for Spring Semester classes at the University, and you vacate your Apartment and Room and check out pursuant to the required procedures for Graduate Housing by December 31, 2022, you will be charged Rent through the last day of the Fall Semester in December and 31, 2022. To avoid additional Rent charges, you will not be responsible for Spring Semester Rent, provided you must 1) complete and submit a move-out notice by December 1, 2022 in the My UAHome housing portal before you check out and you 2) submit a copy of the official program document to Housing & Residential Life’s Housing Assignment Services office by no later than the last day of the Fall Semester. If you provide such documentation after the last day of the Fall Semester or you fail to submit a move-out notice, the terms in Section 10)b. or 10)d. will applyfall semester classes.
f. Except in cases as outlined in Section 10)a., if If you graduate from the University of Arizona at the end of the Fall Semester fall semester, vacate your Apartment and Room, and check out pursuant to the required procedures from your Residence for Graduate Housing by 12:00 noon on the last day of the Fall Semester in DecemberDecember 31, 2022, you will be charged Rent through December 31, 2022. g. If you have completed all coursework necessary for your advanced degree at the end of fall semester, officially change status with the Graduate College to “all but dissertation” (ABD), vacate your Apartment and Room, and check out pursuant to the required procedures for Graduate Housing by December 31, 2022, you will be charged Rent through December 31, 2022.
