Common use of Termination of Membership with Clause in Contracts

Termination of Membership with. the Credit Union Membership with us is a privilege granted to you by our Credit Union under applicable law. However, you may terminate membership with us at any time by communicating to us your desire to no longer be a member of our Credit Union. When you request us to terminate membership, we may require you to sign or authorize a service form to assist us in managing the termination. We may note the termina- tion by placing a “T” (for terminate) in a box on the form. Alternatively, on your request we may agree to manage the termination of mem- bership with the assistance of our employees or the use of our com- puter system (please see Provision 1.f. 1)). In the interest of the members and to protect our Credit Union, we may terminate (expel) any member for cause, which includes: 1) in- eligibility for membership, 2) we are unable to contact you, 3) failure to provide required documentation, information or ID, 4) exceeding a limit or an amount set by us, 5) failure to meet a minimum balance for thirty (30) days, 6) inactive or abandoned products or services,
