Termination of the Job Share. 6.1 When at all possible, the two teachers in a job share recognize the uniqueness of the situation and will complete their contracted year in entirety. 6.2 Should one of the two participating teachers decide to end the job share arrangement before the end of the school year, then the teacher will submit a letter of resignation to the principal. When at all possible, the other participating teacher will teach full time for the remainder of the school year. In the event that circumstances do not allow the other participating teacher to teach full time for the remainder of the school year, then a temporary replacement will be found for the remainder of the school year. Intradistrict request will not be considered until the end of the school year. 6.3 Should one of the two teachers decide to end the job share arrangement at the end of the school year, then the principal may consider other willing participants from inside and outside the district. 6.4 Should both teachers decide to end the job share, then both teachers will inform the principal as soon as possible and submit a letter of resignation. If a participating teacher wants to be considered for a full time position, then the teacher may submit an application for vacant positions. We, the participating teachers, agree to enter into a job share arrangement based on the conditions described in this document.
