Common use of Termination on or before December Clause in Contracts

Termination on or before December. 31, 2000. If the ------------------------------------------ Executive's employment is terminated under this Section 7.4 on or before December 31, 2000, the Company shall provide the Executive with six (6) months' notice of such termination and shall pay to the Executive, in lieu of any further compensation and benefits for the balance of the Term and provided that the Executive complies with paragraph 7.7, severance pay equal to the Salary that the Executive would have otherwise received during the eighteen (18) month period immediately following the effective date of the termination.
