Common use of Termination Right Under the Prime Contract Clause in Contracts

Termination Right Under the Prime Contract. Contractor may also terminate this Subcontract or suspend the Subcontract Work for the same reasons Owner may terminate or suspend Contractor under the Contract Documents. If the Prime Contract is terminated for the convenience of Owner, the termination settlement under this Subcontract shall be as provided in the Prime Contract. Subcontractor shall not be entitled to receive any greater amount than Contractor may on behalf of Subcontractor recover from Owner for such termination. Subcontractor shall cooperate by timely providing a proper termination for convenience cost proposal, if requested by the Contractor.
