Common use of Termination upon Purchase by Lessee Clause in Contracts

Termination upon Purchase by Lessee. If Lessee shall have exercised its option to purchase any Unit pursuant to Section 23 and shall not have elected to purchase Owner Participant’s Beneficial Interest pursuant to Section 23(c), upon payment by Lessee of the purchase price with respect to such Unit as provided in Section 23, and upon payment by Lessee of all Rent then due and payable under this Lease with respect to such Unit, the Lease Term shall end with respect to such Unit and the obligations of Lessee to pay Rent hereunder with respect to such Unit (except for Supplemental Rent obligations surviving pursuant to the Participation Agreement or the Tax Indemnity Agreement or which have otherwise accrued but not been paid as of the date of such payment) shall cease.
