Common use of Terms of Subcontracts Clause in Contracts

Terms of Subcontracts. All subcontracts and purchase orders with Subcontractors shall afford Design/Builder rights against the Subcontractor which correspond to those rights afforded to Owner against Design/Builder under this Contract, including those rights of Contract suspension, termination, and stop Construction Work orders as set forth in this Contract. It is expressly agreed that no relationship of agency, employment, contract, obligation or otherwise shall be created between Owner and any Subcontractor of Design/Builder, and a provision to this effect shall be inserted into all agreements between Design/Builder and its Subcontractors.
