TERRESTRIAL, AVIAN AND AQUATIC LIFE AND HABITATS Sample Clauses

TERRESTRIAL, AVIAN AND AQUATIC LIFE AND HABITATS. Consider substantial habitat values and use of the area by wildlife, birds or fish. Identify cumulative effects to fish and wildlife. A variety of big game (mainly antelope and deer), small mammals, raptors, songbirds and turkeys may traverse the subject sections. The proposed project of reciprocating easements to allow road access could displace wildlife movement and patterns, but still remain in the geographical area. Due to the surrounding area already having established human impact in the form of residential subdivisions, the addition of the road easements will not significantly disrupt the animal behavior of the area. Furthermore, the section that is benefited from the reciprocal easement will either have a restriction to archery hunting only or due the vicinity of the airport, will prohibit hunting altogether. This determination will be made at a later date and will go through the process defined in ARM and MCA since there presently is a commercial lease for the Xxxxxxxx Xxxxx Airport on the parcel that restricts improvements and recreational use. No significant or long-term adverse impacts to terrestrial, avian and aquatic life and habitats are expected to occur as a result of implementing the proposed alternative.

No appreciable change to existing levels of vehicle traffic or human access would be expected under the action alternative. Thus, the risk of adverse direct, indirect or cumulative impacts to terrestrial or avian habitats would be very low.
