Measurement and Payment Latex Modified Microsurfacing Type will be measured along the top surface of the completed work, placed and accepted as specified herein. Payment will be made at the contract unit price per square yard for the type specified, which price will be full compensation for all materials including modifiers and additives, emulsion, aggregate, tack coat, labor, tools, equipment, and all other incidentals necessary to complete the work. Test Strip. Before the rubblization operations begin, the Engineer will designate a test section of approximately 500 feet by 12 feet. The Contractor shall rubblize the test section using varying degrees of energy and/or various striking heights until a procedure is established that will rubblize the pavement to the required extent as contained in these specifications. A 3 foot by 12 foot test pit shall be excavated for the full depth of the rubblized pavement in the middle of the test strip, at a location selected by the Engineer, to determine that the breaker is producing pieces of the specified sizes as contained in these specifications. The rubblized particle sizes shall be checked throughout the entire depth of the pavement. The Engineer may require additional test pits. The test pit material shall be removed from the project and the hole filled using dense graded aggregate base course as determined by the Engineer. The replacement material shall be placed and properly compacted by the Contractor.

  • Test Samples The Contractor is responsible for providing Samples of sufficient size for test purposes and for coordinating such tests with the Work Progress Schedule to avoid delay.

  • Loop Provisioning Involving Integrated Digital Loop Carriers 2.6.1 Where InterGlobe has requested an Unbundled Loop and BellSouth uses IDLC systems to provide the local service to the End User and BellSouth has a suitable alternate facility available, BellSouth will make such alternative facilities available to InterGlobe. If a suitable alternative facility is not available, then to the extent it is technically feasible, BellSouth will implement one of the following alternative arrangements for InterGlobe (e.g. hairpinning):

  • Dark Fiber Transport Dark Fiber Transport is defined as Dedicated Transport that consists of unactivated optical interoffice transmission facilities without attached signal regeneration, multiplexing, aggregation or other electronics. Except as set forth in Section 6.9.1 below, BellSouth shall not be required to provide access to Dark Fiber Transport Entrance Facilities pursuant to this Agreement.

  • Meter Testing Company shall provide at least twenty-four (24) hours' notice to Seller prior to any test it may perform on the revenue meters or metering equipment. Seller shall have the right to have a representative present during each such test. Seller may request, and Company shall perform, if requested, tests in addition to the every fifth-year test and Seller shall pay the cost of such tests. Company may, in its sole discretion, perform tests in addition to the fifth year test and Company shall pay the cost of such tests.   • Dark Fiber Loop 2.8.4.1 Dark Fiber Loop is an unused optical transmission facility, without attached signal regeneration, multiplexing, aggregation or other electronics, from the demarcation point at an End User’s premises to the End User’s serving wire center. Dark Fiber Loops may be strands of optical fiber existing in aerial or underground structure. BellSouth will not provide line terminating elements, regeneration or other electronics necessary for AFN to utilize Dark Fiber Loops.

  • Horizontal Movement The Board encourages all unit members to improve their skills through advanced training and, as an inducement thereto, provides extra compensation for those who do so successfully. The Board delegates to the Superintendent the responsibility for assuring that unit members comply with the following regulations when claiming credit for advanced studies.

  • Dark Fiber 8.1 Subject to the conditions set forth in Section 1 of this Attachment and upon request by CBB, Verizon shall provide CBB with access to unbundled Dark Fiber Loops, Dark Fiber Sub-Loops and Dark Fiber IOF in accordance with, and subject to, the rates, terms and conditions provided in the Pricing Attachment and rates, terms and conditions of Verizon’s applicable Tariffs. Access to unbundled Dark Fiber Loops, Dark Fiber Sub-Loops and Dark Fiber IOF will be provided by Verizon only where existing facilities are available. Except as otherwise required by Applicable Law, the following terms and conditions apply to Verizon's Dark Fiber offerings.

  • Contract Formation Subject to FAR Sections 1.601(a) and 43.102, the Government Order must be signed by a duly warranted contracting officer, in writing. The same requirement applies to contract modifications affecting the rights of the parties. All terms and conditions intended to bind the Government must be included within the contract signed by the Government.
