Test Switches Sample Clauses

The 'Test Switches' clause defines the procedures and requirements for testing electrical switches within a system or facility. It typically outlines when and how switches should be tested, who is responsible for conducting the tests, and the standards or protocols to be followed. For example, it may require periodic testing of safety switches to ensure they function correctly in emergency situations. The core purpose of this clause is to ensure the reliability and safety of electrical systems by mandating regular verification of switch performance, thereby reducing the risk of equipment failure or safety hazards.

Test Switches. Test switches shall be installed to allow independent testing and/or replacement of each meter and transducer utilizing the secondary circuit. No other piece of equipment shall be in the revenue metering secondary circuit.
Test Switches. Each Party’s protective relay design shall incorporate the necessary test switches to perform the tests required in Article 6.
