Common use of TESTING, INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE Clause in Contracts

TESTING, INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE. Testing and inspection of the VLS LCU shall be performed at the Contractor's facility in accordance with the applicable drawings, standards and specifications and factory test and inspection plans. The Contractor shall prepare specific written inspection and test procedures for each inspection and test operation to be performed by the Contractor. These inspection and test procedures shall be reviewed by the quality assurance organization and maintained current in accordance with the change control system requirements. The inspection and test procedures shall clearly identify the item through part number with revision and nomenclature, and include detail instructions and/or operations to be performed. The Contractor shall maintain records of inspection results and quantitative test data for each deliverable end item and make them available to the Government upon request.
