THE ANNUAL RENT. 6.1 The Tenant shall pay the Annual Rent and any VAT in respect of it by equal instalments in advance on the Rent Payment Dates. The payments shall be made by direct debit or by any other method that the Landlord requires at any time by giving notice to the Tenant. 6.2 At the date of entering into this lease, the Landlord has not elected to charge VAT on the Annual Rent but reserves the right to do so if so required by HMRC or for any other reason the Landlord considers appropriate.
