The False Statements Act. The False Statements Act prohibits the making of any statement, written or oral, which is knowingly false, or the knowing and willful concealment of a material fact during a transaction with the Government. Employees shall ensure that all statements made to the Government or its representatives are true and accurate to that person's best knowledge and belief.
