Common use of The Hire List Clause in Contracts

The Hire List. The Employer shall maintain their own Hire List(s) based on fair and equitable criteria applied uniformly to each person on the Referral List. The Union recognizes and understands Employer may make hiring decisions based as well on client feedback/request(s), and Employer agrees to convey to the local’s Business Representative the nature of such feedback/request(s). The Employer and the Union agree that qualified, experienced personnel, as determined by the Employer, shall staff all positions unless training arrangements have been made in advance.
