Common use of THE LESSOR Clause in Contracts

THE LESSOR. (a) warrants that as at the Delivery Date the Ship and the Lessor’s interest in the Insurances and any Requisition Compensation will be free of all Lessor’s Security Interests; and (b) undertakes with the Lessee that it will not create or permit to arise during the Lease Period any such Lessor’s Security Interest over the Ship or any part of it or the Lessor’s interest in the Insurances and any Requisition Compensation.
