Common use of The National Treatment and Most Clause in Contracts

The National Treatment and Most. Favoured-Nation Treatment provisions of this Agreement shall not apply to advantages accorded by a Contracting Party pursuant to its obligations as a member of a customs, economic or monetary union, a common market or a free trade area.

Favoured-Nation Treatment provisions of this Agreement shall not apply to advantages accorded by a Contracting Party pursuant to its obligations as a member of a customs, economic or monetary union, a common market or a free trade area. In addition, the National Treatment and Most-Favoured-Nation Treatment provisions of this Agreement shall not apply to subsidies or grants provided by a Contracting Party or a state enterprise, including government-supported loans, guarantees and insurance.
