Common use of The Pledged Bonds Clause in Contracts

The Pledged Bonds. The Pledged Bonds have been duly authorized by the Company for offer, sale, issuance and delivery pursuant to this Agreement, validly secure the Securities and, when issued, authenticated and delivered in the manner provided for in the applicable mortgage and delivered against payment of the consideration therefor, will constitute valid and legally binding obligations of the Company, enforceable against the Company in accordance with their terms, subject to applicable bankruptcy, insolvency or similar laws affecting creditors’ rights generally and general principles of equity.
