The Professional Educator a) plans, manages and verifies educational interventions aimed at the recovery and development of the people in difficulty potentialities in order to achieve more and more advanced levels of autonomy; b) contributes to promote and organize facilities and social and health resources in order to realize the integrated educational project; c) plans, organizes, manages and checks his professional activities within social and health services and socio-educational and social-health-rehabilitation facilities, coordinated and integrated with other professional figures, with the direct involvement of patients and / or their families, groups and community; d) works on families and social environment of patients, in order to encourage the reintegration into the community; e) participates in activities of study, research and documentation designed for the above- mentioned purposes.
