Common use of The School's Obligations Clause in Contracts

The School's Obligations. (a) The period of your child's schooling Subject to these terms and conditions, the School will accept your child as a pupil of the School from the time of joining the School until the end of his or her preparatory schooling (for children entering Xxxxxx Valence Preparatory School) and until the end of his or her secondary schooling (for children entering Xxxxxx Valence Senior School). However, the School shall not be obliged to permit your child to enter Xxxxxx Valence Senior School from Xxxxxx Valence Preparatory School or, if at Xxxxxx Valence Senior School, the Sixth Form, unless the School is satisfied that it is appropriate to do so, having regard to his or her academic attainments and all other relevant circumstances. Pupils at Xxxxxx Valence Preparatory School will be required to undertake the same procedures for entry to Xxxxxx Valence Senior School as all external candidates. The Senior School may make a decision as to whether your child may join the Sixth Form after the results of GCSE or equivalent examinations are known, and may make entry to the Sixth Form conditional upon the results of such examinations. Furthermore, entry into the Upper Sixth Form will be conditional upon the achievement of satisfactory grades in the AS level or equivalent examinations taken in the Lower Sixth Form.
