Common use of Theft and Damage Clause in Contracts

Theft and Damage. Gardening in a public park comes with some risk. Gardeners should report any theft, vandalism, suspicious behavior or activity in the garden areas to CGP staff immediately. No person is permitted to remove anything from plots not rented by them. The City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department and staff, acting on behalf of the City, are not responsible for any damage to garden spaces, theft of produce or personal belongings in the vicinity of the gardens or elsewhere.
