Third Parties as Data Processors. When a third party is required to process personal data for and on behalf of the Department (for example, where there is a contract between the Department and a third party to undertake a survey of learners on the Department’s behalf), the third party enters into this agreement as a data processor in respect of such data, and agrees to process data solely according to instructions as set out in the contract and under the agreement.
