Third Party Data Sets and Licensing Sample Clauses
The 'Third Party Data Sets and Licensing' clause defines the terms under which data sets provided by external parties are used and licensed within the agreement. It typically outlines the responsibilities of the parties regarding compliance with third-party licenses, including any restrictions on use, distribution, or modification of such data. This clause ensures that all parties are aware of and adhere to the legal obligations associated with third-party data, thereby reducing the risk of intellectual property infringement and clarifying the scope of permitted use.
Third Party Data Sets and Licensing. The Service Provider makes use of the following third party datasets as part of the Service:
a) OS MasterMap Topography Layer® and AddressBase® Premium:
i) EV Map contains data derived from these datasets;
ii) the Intellectual Property Rights in both datasets are owned Ordnance Survey and /or its licensors;
iii) the Customer must, throughout the Term of this Agreement be licensed to both datasets for their particular Local Authority Boundary as defined by Ordnance Survey and provide the Service Provider with the necessary supporting paperwork if requested.
iv) a copy of the current Ordnance Survey Licence Agreement is available on request.
b) Zap-Map®:
i) the Intellectual Property Rights in Zap-Map belong to Next Green Car Limited.
ii) the Customer must, throughout the Term of this Agreement be licensed to Zap-Map and provide the Service Provider with the necessary supporting paperwork if requested.
iii) a copy of the current Zap-Map Licence Agreement is available on request. Third party datasets must only be used for the permitted purpose and in accordance with this agreement.
