Common use of Time to be of the Essence Clause in Contracts

Time to be of the Essence. Where in any provision of this Licence a Party is given or allowed a specified time within which to undertake or do any act or thing or any power is conferred or any event occurs after the lapsing of a specified time, time shall be the essence of the contract in that regard.
