Common use of TIMING AND CALCULATION OF PAYMENT OF BENEFIT Clause in Contracts

TIMING AND CALCULATION OF PAYMENT OF BENEFIT. The Executive shall be entitled to receive a Retirement Benefit under this Agreement as of the Payment Date. Such Retirement Benefit shall be calculated pursuant to Section 1.18, and shall be paid not later than 30 days after the Payment Date. The method of calculating and/or the time of payment of the Retirement Benefit may be adjusted as provided in, as applicable, Section 2.4, Section 2.5, or Section 2.6. To the extent of any inconsistency between this Section 2.1 and any of Section 2.4, Section 2.5, or Section 2.6, such Section 2.4, Section 2.5, or Section 2.6, as applicable, shall be controlling.
