Title to Equipment and Software Sample Clauses

The "Title to Equipment and Software" clause establishes which party holds ownership rights to any equipment or software provided or used under the agreement. Typically, this clause clarifies whether the supplier retains ownership or if title passes to the customer upon delivery, installation, or payment. For example, in a software license, the provider may retain ownership of the software while granting the customer a right to use it, whereas in a hardware sale, title may transfer to the buyer upon full payment. This clause is essential for preventing disputes over ownership, ensuring both parties understand their rights to use, transfer, or dispose of the equipment or software involved.
