TO AMEND THIS AGREEMENT. 10.1 If the Corporation believes that, if trade waste continues to be discharged to a sewer under this Agreement –
a) There is or may be a risk of a significant effect on –
i) The health or safety of any person; or
ii) Any part of the environment; or
iii) Any of the Corporation’s works; or
iv) The operation of any sewage treatment plant; or
v) The operation of any water reclamation and reuse scheme; or
b) The Corporation may as a result of the discharge fail to comply with any law relating to health, safety or the environment by which it is bound – The Corporation may, in addition to any powers it has under clause 7, by written notice to the Customer specify amendments to be made to this Agreement, in order to avoid such consequences.
10.2 Should the Corporation exercise the right to amend the terms of this agreement such amendment shall bind the Customer with effect from the date upon which the notice is served upon the Customer in accordance with the provisions of this agreement or such other date as is specified therein and the Customer shall do all such things as are required to ensure compliance with the amendments.
