To Furnish Proofs. The Company shall forthwith on the happening of any loss or damage furnish at its own expense all necessary proofs and do all necessary acts to enable the Bank to obtain payment of the insurance monies, which, in the sole discretion of the Bank, may be applied in reinstating the insured property or be paid to the Company or be applied in payment of the monies owing hereunder, whether due or not then due, or paid partly in one way and partly in another.
