Tooling & Tooling Cavity Clause Samples

The 'Tooling & Tooling Cavity' clause defines the ownership, use, and maintenance responsibilities for specialized equipment and molds used in manufacturing processes. Typically, this clause specifies who provides the tooling, who is responsible for its upkeep, and what happens to the tooling after production ends—such as whether it is returned, retained, or disposed of. By clearly outlining these terms, the clause helps prevent disputes over costly equipment, ensures production continuity, and allocates risk and responsibility between the parties.
