Common use of Total Appropriation Clause in Contracts

Total Appropriation. If the entire Premises is Appropriated at any time during the Term (a “Total Appropriation”), this Lease shall terminate as provided in Section 17.7 effective on the earlier of the date that title to the Premises is obtained by the Appropriating authority or the date that the Appropriating authority takes possession of the Premises, and the Award shall be divided between Lessor and Lessee in the manner provided in Section 17.5(a) below.
