Common use of Total Loss of Engine(s) Clause in Contracts

Total Loss of Engine(s). 22.3.1 Upon an Engine Total Loss of any Engine not installed on the Aircraft, or an Engine Total Loss of an Engine installed on the Airframe not involving a Total Loss of the Airframe (in either case, a Destroyed Engine), Lessee shall give Lessor prompt written notice thereof and Lessee shall replace the Destroyed Engine as soon as reasonably possible by procuring that Owner Trustee acquires, at Lessee's expense, title to another engine complying with the requirements of Clause 16.

Upon an Engine Total Loss a total loss of any Engine not installed on the Aircraft, or an Engine Total Loss a total loss of an Engine installed on the Airframe not involving a Total Loss total loss of the Airframe (in either case, a "Destroyed Engine"), Lessee Borrower shall give Lessor Lender prompt written notice thereof and Lessee Borrower shall replace the Destroyed destroyed Engine as soon as reasonably possible by procuring that Owner Trustee acquires, at Lessee's expense, title to another engine complying in accordance with the requirements of Clause 16Section 2.05 of the Mortgage and Security Agreement. Such Replacement Engine shall, upon such replacement, be an Engine as defined herein.
