The 'Total Number' clause defines the maximum quantity or amount applicable to a specific subject within the agreement, such as units of goods, services, or deliverables. Total Number. The total number of teachers who may be on any leave under this section at any one time shall not exceed six percent (6%) the appropriate unit of the EMLF members who are also in the appropriate unit.
