Common use of Town Codes Clause in Contracts

Town Codes. Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, all Town ordinances, regulations, codes, policies and procedures now in existence, and as the same may be adopted or changed from time to time, shall be applicable to the use and development of the Property. Nothing contained in this Agreement shall constitute or be interpreted as a repeal of existing codes or ordinances or as a waiver or abrogation of the Town's legislative, governmental or police powers to promote and protect the health, safety, or general welfare of the Town or its inhabitants; nor shall this Agreement prohibit the enactment by the Town of any rate, fee, toll, charge or tax which is uniform or of general application.
