Trade Facilitation/Infrastructure. The D-8 Member States need to inform the Customs Authority to provide necessary infrastructure to facilitate trade among the D-8 Member States. Member States might consider conducting training programmes on customs processes and procedures, capacity building (i.e. training program to enhance the knowledge and skills to customs personnel, and administrative assistances, with the view of facilitating the PTA implementation. Without proper infrastructure and well-trained personnel, it may affect the objectives of implementation of the D-8 PTA.
