Trade Secret Information. Orange County is subject to the State of Florida’s broad public records laws. Therefore, all documents, materials, records, data, or any other information submitted as part of a solicitation response are considered public records governed by the disclosure, exemption, and confidentiality provisions relating to public records in Florida law, including those found in Chapter 119, Florida Statutes. Section 815.045, Florida Statutes, makes trade secret information, as defined in Section 812.081, Florida Statutes, confidential and exempt from disclosure under Florida public records law.
