Traffic Control Devices. The installation, operation and maintenance of all traffic signals, pavement markings, signs, and devices on the improvement, including those between the highway and intersecting streets shall be under the exclusive jurisdiction and at the cost of the Commission. The City shall not install, operate, or maintain any traffic signals, signs or other traffic control devices on the highway or on streets and highways at any point where they intersect this highway without approval of the Commission.
Traffic Control Devices. The State may install, maintain, and remove any traffic control devices it considers necessary to properly control the detoured traffic. The State may paint roadway markings, such as the centerline, edge lines, and necessary messages.
Traffic Control Devices. Traffic-control devices include the use of flagmen and portable STOP and GO-RY signs, and traffic signals, whichever may be the most suitable method under the prevailing circumstances. Traffic signals shall only be erected if approved by the district manager or his/her representative. If a road is partially closed and one-way traffic only is allowed over a section of road of which the length exceeds 250 m, the traffic shall be regulated by flagmen and STOP and GO-RY signs at both ends of such section. If it is necessary for effective communication between the flagmen, an approved two-way communication system shall be in operation at the control points. Flagmen shall have a working knowledge of the road regulations. Temporary traffic-control facilities shall be provided with portable stands adequately ballasted with sandbags to prevent the signs form being blown over by wind or wind turbulence from moving traffic.
Traffic Control Devices. Subdivider shall furnish the necessary traffic control devices within and adjacent to the subdivision as required by the County. Traffic control devices shall comply with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and County standards. Street Name Signs: Subdivider shall furnish and install street name signs for streets within the subdivision, or located immediately adjacent thereto, in accordance with the specifications of the County Publics Works and Fire Departments.
Traffic Control Devices. THE FIRST PARAGRAPGH IS CHANGED TO: Ensure that FHWA category 1, 2, 3, and 4 traffic control devices (TCDs) conform to the requirements of the 2016 Edition of the Manual for Assessing Safety Hardware (MASH), except that TCDs manufactured on or before December 31, 2019 must have been purchased by the Contractor on or before December 31, 2019, and conform to the requirements of NCHRP 350, MASH 2009, or MASH 2016. Provide each device’s applicable MASH 2016, MASH 2009, or NCHRP 350 test results and FHWA Eligibility letter, if issued by the FHWA, to the RE. Provide the RE with the purchase date certification for devices not meeting the MASH 2016 requirements upon delivery to the site. Ensure that traffic control devices meet or exceed an acceptable condition as described in the ATSSA guide Quality Standards for Work Zone Traffic Control Devices. Traffic control devices need not be new but must be in good condition. Provide traffic control devices according to MUTCD.
Traffic Control Devices. Pursuant to the authority granted under the Statute, the City may place official traffic control devices on property abutting the Private Streets if (1) those devices
Traffic Control Devices. All traffic control devices to be constructed by Developer shall be constructed in accordance with the construction standards of the City.

Traffic Control Devices. All traffic control devices required for the Work under this Contract shall be the responsibility of the Job Order Contractor. The Job Order Contractor shall place advance warning signs (such as REDUCE SPEED, LOOSE GRAVEL, 25 MPH SPEED LIMIT and DO NOT PASS) in accordance with the Barricade Manual. The Job Order Contractor shall provide, erect and maintain all necessary flashing arrow boards, barricades, suitable and sufficient warning lights, signals and signs and shall take all necessary precautions for the protection of the Work and safety of the public. The Job Order Contractor shall provide, erect and maintain acceptable and adequate detour signs at all closures and along detour routes. All barricades and obstructions shall be illuminated at night, and all safety lights shall be illuminated from sunset until sunrise. All barricades and signs used by the Job Order Contractor shall conform to the standard design generally accepted for such purposes and payment for all such services and materials shall be considered as included in the other pay items of this Contract.
Traffic Control Devices. The Subdivider shall furnish and install street name signs for streets within the subdivision or located immediately adjacent thereto in accordance with the specifications of the County Public Works and the local Fire Department.
