Common use of Transaction Fee Exemption Clause in Contracts

Transaction Fee Exemption. The State of Florida has instituted MyFloridaMarketPlace, a statewide eProcurement System (“System”). Pursuant to section 287.057(22), Florida Statutes, all payments shall be assessed a Transaction Fee of one percent (1.0%), which the Contractor shall pay to the State, unless otherwise exempt pursuant to Rule 60A-1.032, F.A.C. The Department has determined that payments to be made under this Contract are not subject to the MyFloridaMarketPlace Transaction Fee pursuant to Rule 60A-1.032(1), Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C).
