TRANSFER FROM ONE OPERATION TO ANOTHER. 8.01 When an employee is transferred from one (1) department to another, s/he shall retain his/her Departmental Seniority in the department from which s/he was transferred for a period of one hundred and eighty (180) days. Following one hundred and eighty (180) days, if the transfer remains in effect, the employee’s full Departmental Seniority will be transferred to the new department and s/he shall cease to have any Departmental Seniority in the department from which s/he was transferred.
