Common use of Transfer of Landlord's Interest to Condemnor Clause in Contracts

Transfer of Landlord's Interest to Condemnor. Landlord may, without any obligation to Tenant, agree to sell and/or convey to the condemnor the Premises, the Building, the Project or any portion thereof, sought by the condemnor, free from this Lease and the rights of Tenant hereunder, without first requiring that any action or proceeding be instituted or, if instituted, pursued to a judgment.

Transfer of Landlord's Interest to Condemnor. Landlord may, without any obligation or liability to Tenant, agree to sell and/or convey to the condemnor the Premises, the Building, the Project or any portion thereof, sought by the condemnor, free from this Lease and the rights of Tenant hereunder, without first requiring that any action or proceeding be instituted or, if instituted, pursued to a judgment. In such event, this Lease shall be deemed terminated effective on the date of such transfer.
