Common use of Transfer of Xxxxxx Home Licenses Clause in Contracts

Transfer of Xxxxxx Home Licenses. (1) If a Child is placed under the terms of this Contract with an ICPR in effect, and the Child’s xxxxxx family requests that the family's license be transferred to another contractor which is a licensed child placing agency, the following conditions apply: All transfers must be approved by DCS and conducted in a manner that protects and maintains the continuity of the specialized services and care unique to the Child. In order for the transfer to occur, the Placing Agency must agree that this transfer is in the Child’s best interest. If multiple children are involved from multiple placing agencies, all placing agencies must agree to the transfer. (2) The license may only transfer under subparagraph (1) above if the xxxxxx family is in good standing with DCS (i.e. no corrective or disciplinary actions), is in full compliance with licensing regulations, and has given the Contractor holding the effective ICPR for the Child(ren) appropriate notice of the xxxxxx family's intent to request a transfer to another contractor. All transfers will be subject to the policies and procedures established by DCS.
