Common use of Transfer Reads Clause in Contracts

Transfer Reads. 6.1 The Retailer shall give Pelican not less than five [5] Working Days’ notice of a request for a Transfer Read to take place and the Parties shall arrange it as a Non-Cyclic Meter Reading. 6.2 Where less than five [5] Working Days’ notice is given, Pelican will use reasonable endeavours to undertake the Transfer Read. 6.3 Where a Transfer Read occurs, Pelican shall provide the Meter Data to the Retailer within five [5] Business Days of the visit taking place. For clarity, where a Transfer Read takes place at 2.00pm on a Friday for example, Pelican shall submit the Meter Data to the Retailer on or before 2.00pm on the following Friday or the succeeding Business Day where the Monday is a UK Bank Holiday.
