Common use of Transfers from Subaccounts Clause in Contracts

Transfers from Subaccounts. After the right to examine period and Reallocation Date, you may transfer all or a part of the value in any Subaccount of the Variable Account to one or more of the Subaccounts of the Variable Account or to the Fixed Account. The minimum amount that you may transfer is the lesser of: (1) $250; or (2) the total value in that Subaccount on that date. We will treat any transfer that would reduce the amount in a Subaccount below $250 as a transfer request for the entire amount in that Subaccount. J176
