Transforming Learning Through Teaching Clause Samples
The "Transforming Learning Through Teaching" clause establishes a framework where teaching activities are intentionally designed to enhance and evolve the learning process. In practice, this clause may require educators to adopt innovative instructional methods, integrate reflective practices, or use feedback from teaching experiences to improve student outcomes. Its core function is to ensure that teaching is not static but is continually adapted to foster deeper understanding and engagement, thereby addressing the need for dynamic and effective educational environments.
Transforming Learning Through Teaching. During the term of this Agreement, the College will continue to offer the 12-week Transforming Learning Through Teaching Seminar/Class as created by the LCC Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE). Priority in enrollment will be given to those members who have not previously taken the seminar and who require completion in order to achieve continuing contract status. Faculty members’ participation will be covered by the College’s tuition waiver benefit.
