Unless restricted by law, Company must not electronically transmit Secret or Sensitive Information over publicly-accessible networks without using 128-bit SSL or another mechanism that affords similar or greater security and confidentiality. If legal restrictions limit the use of 128-bit SSL encryption technology, Company must use the strongest encryption technology permitted. 2. Confidential Information must never be passed in a URL (e.g., using a Get method) in a manner that potentially exposes the information to third parties and causes such information to appear in log files.
