Common use of TREASURE TROVE Clause in Contracts

TREASURE TROVE. In the event of discovery by the contractor or his employees during the progress of the works of the any treasure, fossils, minerals or any other article of value or interest, the contractor shall give immediate intimation thereof to the Engineer. And forth with mark over to the Engineer his representative such treasure or things, which shall be the property of Government.
