Common use of Treatment of Dividend Equivalents Clause in Contracts

Treatment of Dividend Equivalents. Except as otherwise expressly provided in this Section VI any Dividend Equivalents credited to you shall be subject to all of the provisions of this Agreement which apply to the Performance Units with respect to which they have been credited and shall be payable, if at all, at the time and to the extent that the underlying Performance Unit becomes payable. Dividend Equivalents shall not be payable on any Performance Units that do not vest, or are forfeited, pursuant to the terms of this Agreement.
