Common use of Types of Borrowing Clause in Contracts

Types of Borrowing. The term “Borrowing” denotes (i) the aggregation of Loans made or to be made to the Borrower pursuant to Article 2 on the same day, all of which Loans are of the same type and, except in the case of Base Rate Loans, have the same initial Interest Period or (ii) if the context so requires, the borrowing of such Loans. Borrowings are classified for purposes of this Agreement by reference to the pricing of Loans comprising such Borrowing (e.g., a “Eurodollar Borrowing” is a Borrowing comprised of Eurodollar Loans).
