Common use of Unauthorized Amendments Clause in Contracts

Unauthorized Amendments. Changes to the Agreement, including the addition of work or materials, the revision of payment terms, or the substitution of work or materials, directed by an unauthorized State employee or made unilaterally by the Qualified Vendor are violations of the Agreement and of applicable law. Such changes, including unauthorized written Agreement amendments, shall be void and without effect, and the Qualified Vendor shall not be entitled to any claim under this Agreement based on those changes.
