Underserved Areas. The target services areas are Underserved Areas where women’s health access is limited, such as rural areas/counties, “colonias,” primary health care shortage areas, and other areas of the State where women have not or do not receive women’s health preventative services. Applicant's proposed service area must include at least one underserved county ranked 123 - 244 in the County Health Rankings and Roadmaps. Counties ranked higher may also be included but are not required. Applicants may use this tool to confirm whether their proposed service area meets this requirement: County Health Rankings.
