Common use of Uniform Change Time Clause in Contracts

Uniform Change Time. All bargaining unit employees are expected to be fully dressed in their respective uniforms and ready to work at their respective work stations at the commencement of their shifts. Employees who elect to change out of their uniforms into street clothes at the end of their shifts will be permitted to cease work six (6) minutes prior to the end of their shifts to change clothes. Regardless of whether an employee elects to change clothes or not, the time for clocking out will be established by the end time for that employee’s shift.
