Union School Mail Communication. A. The Union, as the officially elected bargaining agent, shall have access to the District school mail system to provide information related to the current business of the District to members of the bargaining unit, up to two (2) times per month. 1. Such communication shall not suggest, urge, or propose any action by a teacher or groups of teachers to violate, ignore, or resist any terms of this Agreement or any written Board policies or administrative regulations and directives of the Superintendent. 2. Political campaign material may not be mailed through the school mail system. 3. Union mail shall be addressed to the Union Worksite Leader who will be responsible for distribution. 4. The Union shall provide a copy of the information to be mailed to the Superintendent’s designee for review and approval at least two (2) days prior to the scheduled mailing date. 5. The Union shall reimburse the District for any additional costs that may be associated with the use of District school mail.
